WNYC’s Spinning On Air: Vashti Bunyan and Gareth Dickson
Gareth Dickson accompanies Vashti Bunyan in WNYC Studio on the Spinning On Air show.The songs of Vashti Bunyan have a gentle, quiet sound, but they tell tales of strength, resilience, and insight. Vashti joins host David Garland in the studio once again, this time to play and talk about songs she wrote in 1964 and 2009, and from a few points in between. Accompanying Vashti is Scottish guitarist Gareth Dickson, who then plays us a couple of his own songs, which are mysterious, rhythmic, and lovely.
